It is indeed perfect.
Great shots @KustomLincolnLady! I'm surprised no one has mentioned that the Buick has an Imperial steering wheel in it. Very kool! E
HAMB'er 15ASedan posted this on another thread.
I didn't want anyone here to miss it...It's BU-tiful!
Radical '59. (Lift-off top!)
I thought a guy with a Fiberglassed Street Rodded version contacted the Rickster and he photo shopped it. This is what he came up with. The guy was gonna build it. Am I right.
I'm buying that. It just looks too Rikster perfect.
There were maybe three cars that I saw an Imperial wheel in at the show tis year

There were only 42 cars(total) at the show I saw the Buick at. I Kept looking at the grille while talking to the owner. .
The Merc headlights look awesome!!! That's the kind of creativity a lot of modern builds lack, imho. Love it!
Actually, it's the wooden floor in an old National Guard Armory where we held our first Jalopyrama shows. It was like traveling back in time to the car shows of yesteryear.
A couple more from bangshift coverage
Two more from the show
Ah, the Galaxie....
That poor car will never be the same.
This was built here on the HAMB but haven't seen much of the owner on here in a long time
It is sad, I regret not buying it.

Anyone know if this is a custom or maybe a factory concept?
That Buick roadster is fantastic!!
This car deserved to be given a great paint job. Not outrageous, something two tone and tasteful.
Best 'Breezeway' (roll-down rear window) yet!
Must look really nice with the bed cover in place!
Nice '58 Chebby of Momo Mottier, Switzerland.

These later pictures of Starbird's '59 Buick were posted on the "Road Masters Auto Club" (Abilene) site. http://www.wtv-zone.com/MemoreeMaker/Car-Story/D-RoadMastersAutoClub.html
I had not seen it before with the rolled pans and de-chromed fins...it looks fantastic!
Wow Mo! Thanks for sharing, I have not seen that version either.
Those appear to Ford County '59 KS plates. That is Dodge City area......
