This thing has got some very strong Valley Custom influences. Is it a newer build?

The car is currently in Illinois, needing a complete restoration. In the past, it was posted in the For Sale section here on the HAMB.

Thanks a bunch Moriarity. That sure brings back a rush from back in the day. I friend of mine here in Victoria owned that car when it was red. I'm guessing he bought it off of Milt. At one point I had the supercharger from that car mounted on the engine in my '53 Olds. I was making the brackets the day of my grad and knocked the prop out that was holding the hood open. Hood larch did a number on my skill.. A little soap and water, wash off the blood and off to the party. Never did recover my sanity... <Grin> Nor did I ever get the supercharger actually hooked up.

Dunno what ever happened to the car....

Yes it is a BC car. Back in the old days, BC used to change license plate colours every year before using year tags.

It was one of the first cars to wear '58 Chev quads.

In fact, a little page book did a tech article on it.

The shot is from the BC Custom Car Association Motrorama show, the Chev in the background was the give way car...mild custom also with 58 Chev quad lights.
