Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

Looks like it might have been the Santa Maria West Coast Customs show.

 

Lol, I've lived in a four door world all my life. I have heard that a lot.... I could convert it to a two door.... Hhhhuuuummm. Hey I won the lottery and I know Jeff Myers, why not?

 

I don't think that's at Santa Maria. They only have one building with cars in it and it's usually only 2 or 3 featured cars.
Sacramento maybe?

 

Mick, after the ride to Dewey one movie night in my four door 57 with Mr. Myers riding in the back . He made the comment that the body lines were just right to hang ones arm out and rest on. So he may build a few more doors. But maybe the exhaust fumes were getting to him because the trunk lid seal is gone as is the package tray.

 

I rode in the back of my 60 and it was more comfortable than the front. He has a few four doors lining up for his blessing.

Well I asked. Thanks for posting the 59 Plymouth ... I think. That's one of Zocchi's cars I had never seen. I'm of your opinion. I like the back of the car, and the front ... well? But its "not my car", and you gotta hand it to Mr Zocchi. He came up with some pretty kool customs on some normally overlooked body styles.

My favorite was the yellow/cream 51 Olds. I'm straight up going to copy the top chop on that car for my 53 Buick with a tip of the hat to Richard Z.

 

If you go to the site in the link I think it is under the "Photo's" of the "custom" section. It's a new site by a guy that has a lot of sites.

Traditional Kustoms was a kool magazine and I miss reading. I was hoping that we would be able to have two magazines dedicated to Kustoms. John & Carrie had a kool eye and took some great shots. Here are some of my favorite.

 

The Dodge in the last photo is now in Australia.
