El Matador for sale in the new Hemmings
Bobby Darin dream car. DiDia 150, designed and built by Andy DiDia in the late 1950's. I saw the car in person, 1962, Harvey Illinois at Art's Roller Rink indoor car show.
That has to be "George Jetsons" car! WOW!
More like Bobby Darin! (Well, not really, just a publicity thing) Actually belonged to And DiDia.
It would be cool to see some more pics of this rolling piece of artwork. From the front it looks like it could take off and fly (the George Jetson) reference. Done in the 50’s, what an imagination and artful skill set that builder had!
What a great history lesson and unbelievable build! Thanks for the info Mark!
Great looking kustom. Great choice on the tail lites.
Today after looking thru these photos, I'm seeing more rarity of cars making great looking kustoms. A pleasure.
I thought this is a very Kool picture, the future of our hobby. Kustom 59 Caddy roadster powered by Dad or Grandpa.
I have missed a few days, but I’m glad to see there’s never a shortage of great custom photos. Keep em comin.
Saw this at the northern Nationals yesterday
