Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

^^^ The Lil 50 built by a guy just north of me in Adams Friendship. If I remember right his nick name was Wild Bill and he built a lot of wild stuff. He has been gone for some time and I have not seen the car in a number of years. It use to be everywhere and was built at least 30 years ago. neat memories. Larry

Wild Bill's old chopped, channeled and sectioned shoebox showed up at Symco Weekender 2019. It still looks good and is now wearing purple suede.

You are welcome! Wild Bill had a small private salvage yard so he was constantly kustomizing 50s era cars and he was a highly skilled metal man. My personal favorite was a chopped, channeled and sectioned 50 Mercury coupe. It had all of the late 50s kustomizing tricks like George Jetson antennae and I believe that it was candy burgundy colored with dragon themed pinstriping.

 

Kool to see some of the history. I love and respect free spirited kustom guys. They build them for them for the right reason. For themselves. Sounds like he had a lot of fun building some wild kustoms.
