Just found this tread. Very cool cars here. Soon I'll have another Mopar, most likely a Desoto.
This was my first Chrysler, pic is about 1978, I had this car from 77 till 87. I know the white letter tires suck. The Buick dealer I worked for had a guy come around to the used car lot with a tire machine to clean up the whitewalls. First he said no problem. Then after buying the tires and mounting them up he choked on me. Shaved front and rear, door handles were next. Probably my favorite car I have ever owned. Wish I still owned her.

BigBlickMopar, that 57 looks just like a friends pink car back In the 70's. And the wagon is cool.

  16. Have to take a lot out of these mopar roofs to make the chop look right. We took 4" out of the front and 5"+ it of the rear. I like the way your chop came out, nice work.

Yea they've got a big ugly arse rear around the rear window from factory. Thought about running the original rear window but it's got to much of a bulge in it to make it look flush

  24. Thanks mate. First thing it's get it super realiable and safe. Then change the grill, headlights, taillight, shave a few bits and pieces and I've got some '40 zephyr rear quarters and skirts to graft on. Then maybe a small chop.

Few tail light options. Still thinking in the bumper guards though.

    I really dig it, uglysteve.
The split window is something else. The extended drip rail, too.
The stance and look are perfect late-forties, but is that a molded lake pipe cover going on?
Does it still have the six?

What is the small light next to the bumper mounted light? (Looks similar to a '50 Merc light on end.)
It looks like it might be a good fit mounted sideways. (Especially with molded fenders!)

Those bumper guard units you posted are still off the hook!
