Somehow, I accidentally unsubscribed from your thread and missed weeks of updates. I'm so glad to be tuned in, again. The changes are coming together nicely!

Hello Guys, just an explain about the last French questions......that summer, I used my Buggy, and like the ten past years, I always do, done, and re do..... paint, stuff, because I have not garage.....always outside.....I'm boring, and I decided to trade my buggy for a Hot Rod project, or a 50's truck. In France it's difficult to trade, it's always a money power, so, to realize my dream without money, on French website, I proposed 2 cars to exchange for 1.....Buggy and Frégate....but I was not really , "in the mood" to let go away my not finish Frégate and let it go to a new owner......

But.......finaly my dream is almost come true, in few days, a new toys arrive......bye bye Buggy, and I KEEP THE FREGATE, I'm happy, I can continue at my rhythm my little Renault, and start a new project.... Surprise.....news soon.:)

Well, it's official, I'm own a new car....53 GMC Truck, 1/2 ton, long bed....and as usual, a lot of work on it.....so Fregate and Pickup is the right combo for me, the Buggy is gone to a new owner.

Don't try to fire the engine (if it has been sitting) until you inspect and/or go through the oiling system.
They are tough ol' engines, but lack of oil has hurt too many.
