Yes, he's very good, to get black to look like that even on a pretty straight car is lots of work!

These are all great builds, and loads of great shots and ideas but the 27 T roadster has peaked my interest. Like the other builds it looks like there has been a lot of clever ideas tucked away and hidden in that package . I would love to see a few more pics of details in that build. From the pics already there I can see the obvious stuff like the hood and sides, cowl steering, track style nose and louvred lid among other external details . Under the hood I picked up the position of the flatty, and the modified firewall and the brake master, perhaps indicating firewall mounted pedal assembly , also overall stance indicating chassis mods .. looks really interesting.

Andy dropped and "squished" this 32 for me.

Thanks, there are some pics of the build up earlier in this thread, pedal assembly is a reworked f1 set up as swing operation and it’s mounted to the cowl hoop that also supports the f1 steering box converted to cowl steer. Clutch actuation is moved to the passenger side via a cross shaft also mounted to the hoop, this saves critical foot room in a channeled t with a set back engine, engine is also offset to the passenger side 1” to give the driver some space. Nose, hood, firewall, deck, dash and full belly pan are all aluminum. Chassis is mostly 0.180” wall 1.5” x 4” tubing with model a rear and front crossmembers, a smaller tubing framework under the passenger compartment with 18ga floors attached to the frame rather than the body. Rear suspension is a home brewed triangulated 4 link using old ford parts. It’s also set up to run either a t5 or open drive 39 box with minimal swap effort (R&r thru the floor with two sets of mounts. Front shocks are cantilevered tube units tucked inside the front rails under the water pumps. It is a light, snotty little rocket ship !

Thanks for taking the time to record this , went back through the entire post and pulled all the relevant pics and info. Im wondering if the new European owner of the car will bring it to the UK for VHRA events, Pendine and GOW.. Its would be cool to see it in the flesh.

I know he is planning to bring it to pendine so you should be able to lay eyes on it there, assuming the event happens this year.

You should be able to see it in person at some beaches in Europe...
I got a ticket for "Race the waves" this may and hope to make it to Pendine next year. This september I apply for a racing space in Romo / Denmark...

Andy Kohler of Kohler Kustoms did this for me today as a side project ... this guy walks the walk and talks the talk. Great fab skills and very respectful to the traditional ways of hot rodding . Thank you Andy for a good day I’m just hanging and punchin louvers
