Bolt in motor mounts to fasten to a painted/boxed chassis, it’s a challeng to build a whole new drivetrain/mounts/steering setup on a fully painted finished car. We are using a different boxed chassis to build all the parts then they will be bolted to the car after fabrication is completed. These are gonna get a dip in the chrome tank...

Hey Andy, Nice to see you are still at it. I was beginning to think you might have been kidnapped by aliens. I'll bet you could work on vintage space ships too. Might be time for me to hook up the trailer and buy another of your crazy contraptions. Best of luck, Ron

On to the trans mount, I’m afraid we’ll have to lose the boling bros battery box and relocate the battery, gonna be in the way of the trans mount and 3 of the 6 stainless pipes running all the way out the back :)

Lots of careful measuring and gentle persuasion (portapower, ratchet straps, big hammers, small hammers, dollies, clamps, etc...) to get these quarters and roof parts to line up, but it’s starting to take shape!

Our pal bob stopped by for a quick carb adjustment on his minty 41 Tudor. Now I happen to like 41 fords... but it’s kinda hard to imagine what the designers were thinking looking at the 40 vs 41 styling!

  7. Andy, Just thought I would check in on ya as it has been a while. Everything is looking cool as I see you just keep on building the cool stuff and kicking it out the door. Things have slowed down some on this end. I think turning 80 is starting to catch up with me. Seems like I like driving hot rods more than building them these days. But that's alright with me. Hope to see you on the road some day.

Bolt in battery box that loads from the bottom, with an aluminum heat shield, yes the battery will be installed with the vents facing up during final assembly.

Built a sturdy little bracket to anchor the wishbone, starting to fill this chassis up! Next is adapting an f100 steering box to fit in place of the stock a box and use his factory 29 column.

And the rockers are being fit to pats 3w. Lots of fine tuning to do in a lot of areas but it’s really starting to feel like a car!

One of the last things I had to do on Sergio’s roadster chassis before paint was finish the upper shock mounts. The t rear crossmember is pretty narrow where later crossmembers are wider toward the frame rails. This meant it was too far away to use a mount off the crossmember. The gussets first the rear crossmember also encroach on the desired mounting area. Trying to keep it pretty simple and something that looks like it could be a factory bracket, I came up with these, This is a late 32 frame with the extra frame rail wall supports around the rear rear crossmember and axle area.

Working on a low profile aluminum two carb intake for romeos McCullough, trying to minimize the hood blister as much as we can. I still have to do a few things and need some longer carb stud to put it all together but I think it will work out perfect.
