Anyone know this shoebox? I like the front splashpan treatment and want to learn how to do it. Looks to me like the front fenders are extended towards the ground, so that the "rocker" in front of the front wheel is level with the normal rocker. Anyone ever do something like this?
Anyone ever do something like this?[/QUOTE] First time I ever noticed it was on that one 57 ford station wagon. They flipped the front bumper and noticed it was too high just to run I suppose, so they had to drop the sides. Makes it all look NICER I dare say... http://www.carnut.com/cgi-bin/_image.pl?/show/01/star/star277.jpg
. . . agreed. So, that's how its done? Flip bumber, bring bumper mounts down, bring splash pan down, bring front fenders down, and mold it all in. I reckon this makes the grille opening bigger?
I don't think anything has been done to the fenders, or any of the grill opening. The bumper may be extended forward and that's about all. It's an illusion. Compare other pictures.
