I tend to own Black vehicles, my '05 Neon is black, my '05 Chrysler 300C was Black, but my Nissan 350Z was Silver....couldn't help it, it was the new dark silver for '04, loved it.
But I've always been partial to that really dark red....not maroon or salmon, but
dark red, like old blood, just not as creepy. It's the color I'm gonna paint the Coronet when it's done, using Hot Rod Flatz Vintage Burgundy Pearl <---yes, that's a link.

    And I like Daisy's....

  5. That is freaking hillarious!!!!!
Me, old school "traditional" lowriders, customs, and really pretty much anything automotive related (except those damn loud annoying little imports with the crappy exhaust).

  7. Pretty much any American Muscle from 60-70's, especially AMC and 67-68 Cougars.

    Also into 78-88 GM G-bodies
    Ford pickups pre-1980
Fox Mustangs (No, I don't bleach my hair and hang out all day at the gym, nor do I spray tan)

And I friggin' love old tractors..if that counts.

Toyota Landcuisers, been into them since 1993 and can not seem to shake them out of my system. I have not had one in 4 or 5 years until a couple months ago, the bug has bitten again and it's bad this time. I have put the hot rod on the back burner, thats how bad it has bitten.

What most would call "mini trucks", although I am far to large to fit in a mini. I prefer fullsize trucks. But low and slow is my thing. My non hamb friendly rig is a 97 GMC that is flamed, body dropped and bagged on 22" billet wheels. It is a driver. I have the rock chips to prove it. And I can't have a post about it and not post a picture.

I can appreciate any kind of "custom" vehicle though. Lowrider, lifted truck, hot rod, muscle car ... everything is cool by me.

    Later,
    Chad

    All kinds.

Deco era cars, blower Bentley always stood out for me. I built a model of one as a kid.

Muscle cars of all sorts, particularly Mopars and mid-60s Novas and GTOs.

Late-60s-early-70s GM trucks, Blazers and Broncos.

Exotics, most high end Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos, Lotus's, TVRs of any era. The "new" Ford GTs get me every time. There are a ton of cool newer exotics out there.

Classic BMWs, Datsun 210s, Audis, Volkswagens...

More mundane: an '89 or '90 Nissan Skyline set up for drifting was probably the scariest car I've driven, it was pretty cool. Sounded nice with that inline 6 roaring away, and the blow-off-valve was pretty obnoxious. My friend's Mini Cooper S is a blast, as is another friend's BMW M3.

  27. Since the old air cooled VWs were a big part of my life for many years, both as a hobby, and as a paycheck (I worked for the 2 American VW Magazines) I am still kinda partial to them. The only one I kept (out of 7 that were running registered and insured) when I sold out of SoCal and moved to a paid off, brand new, Ocean Vew 4 bedroom 3-1/2 bath home in NorCal, was this one.
With a healthy 2 liter engine, Weber 48 IDA carbs, cylinder heads with ports you could camp out in, it might surprise a few of you...

Right there with you Chad, although I'm slowly getting back to the HotRods :)

I had a "mini" truck, lol... excab longbed, stockfloored to lay on 22/24 wheels. It was a daily driver, even through the winter... Made plowing the driveway easy :) I drug the hell out of it too...

Got a divorce and had to sell it before I ever got a chance to finish it... :(
