I saw one here that was built like an old '66 or so Chevelle dirt car that the driveshaft moved with the wheels and moved the motor.

Beer can cars is an old art form... and bizarre at the same time. The pie wagon, dune buggy and jeep are well done.

 

Those are downright cool as hell.
