Kind of Car

This is my father in law standing beside his car. But we do not know what year of car. We really think it is a Chevy, but all four doors are suicide. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dusty

That is a Pontiac

 

From what I've found in a search the 35's had the suicide doors http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com/Pontiac/ The only photo of a 36 Sedan I found had regular doors. 35 Olds or at least some models of them had suicide doors too.

Looks like a Chevy to me.

 

I agree looks like a Chevy also. I was wrong about the Pontiac but it had the same door set up but the hood is different. I admit I was wrong but don't tell my wife that I admitted it okay?
