Technical Keeping Your Chevy Stovebolt Cool . . . In 1936

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by ClayMart, Oct 26, 2020.

  1. It seems that there's almost always at least one post requesting cooling system help on the first page or two of the HAMB. Surprisingly, a quick search didn't show that this video had been posted before.

So here's an interesting, fun-to-watch, Chevrolet/Jam Handy vocational film covering the basics of the 1936 Chevrolet cooling system. Of course the basic info shown is applicable to most other engines as well.

Don't skip thru the first part of the film too quickly. There's some great footage of some 1930s construction projects taking place in the California and Arizona dessert. And the quality of this video conversion is of better than most.
