  3. The only guys I know in Leavenworth can't get out to look at a car for a few more years (maybe sooner with good behavior).

Coke-bottle. Leavenworth is mostly known for a Federal prison. Many scams of for sale items come from the prison. As you are in Italy you may not know that. Did you place a wanted ad someplace? Is the car super cheap?

Do you have a link to an ad for the car in question? Maybe somebody knows the car here?

I just talked with him and his "woman" at phone, I don't think they live in a luxury family cell (with phone number)

Leavenworth is a pretty good sized city spread over a lot of land. I'm sure you will be alright. Sorry I can't check it out.

Wow! Nice car. Hope it works out for you.

  14. That's a nice looking 36. It'll look great in the streets of Italy, or out touring the countryside.
Best of luck with your new purchase.

May be time difference issues or if he's an older person may not be too computer savvy. Nice car BTW.

  18. Very nice looking '36. I sure someone is on here close enough to drive there and check it out for you. I would if I were closer.

Doesn't look familiar to me but ther are an aweful lot of old cars around here,
I'd say he's just got shit going on and doesn't check his email as often as he should. I'd say the add seems legit and to have someone go eye ball it in person, which looks like you've had a volunteer already.

If I wasn't about to have some teeth taken out id offer :S

  20. Are you dealing with the seller or owner??????
    This was an auction.
You have inquired about a current title???

I'm about 35 miles from where the map shows the car is located, so I may be able to take a look at it if the previous fellow couldn't. I probably couldn't have a look at it until Friday.

    Ricks,

The weirdest thing is that the seller isn't the owner. For what I know on ebay that's not allowed, but I tough he was a normal person and he just want to let people know he has a car for sale via ebay.

Now he disappeared and didn't showed any id and title doc after I ask. That's why I'm here..
When I talked about money he was so regular on reply. Funny.........NOT

if you can not get someone over to it real soon may want to contact a verified classic car seller company in town of Leavenworth to help you find out who it is you have been in contact with. have you contacted the auction site?

After a 17 min call with the owner I actually think he's not a computer guy. Maybe this is the reason why he finished a car..

  29. haha ^^^ yeah no sh#t ! Sometimes I think that I need to stay off of here too. A small parts pile, and a desire to see what everyone else is doing ruins those thoughts. Good to hear you spoke to a live body. Very cool, and congratulations. Now about that '38 coupe of yours .... update time !! :) It's a long ride on a boat upcoming for that '36.
