Event Coverage K.K.O.A - Salina in July...Who's Going?

My absolute favorite car show is around the corner....anybody else planning on being there?????

My wife and I went last year what a great show! The drag races Friday night was the coolest part. Not sure about this year every penny goes to my 32 build.

OH MAN I am counting the days. I have been to 4 of them (planning on # 5 ) with my Airflow custom. If your coming from Texas a bunch of customs from Colorado Springs and Denver try to meet up and drive together.Let us know . We all go on Thursday so we can be ready to attend early friday instead of spending friday driving all day. Thursday evening is open house at Brites rod shop. KOOL DRAGS Friday evening .The handle bar mustash dude with the tv show my classic car will be filming the event for there show.Lots of Kustom legond celiberties attend also. If you like customs this is the place to be,great show.

 

Wouldn't miss it. I'll be there.

 

I will make the drive again this year. The friday drags are on my mind!!

Oh yeah we missed last year, but not this time. we are tested and tuned.

The two shows that I look forward to every year is the Lone Star Round up and Salina.
I wish that it was time to go. We have ten of us driving up for the show this year. I will
be heading up the Merc Gathering & the HAMB meet and greet, man I can't wait.

Jerry and DeVona Titus have done a great job reviving the Kustom movement again.
The show keeps getting better every year. Keep up the good work ya got us hooked.

If you are really into Kustoms then Salina is the place to be.

We are driving up from Houston!! Can't wait!!

 

Last year was my first. I'm going back. There will be 3 or 4 cars in our group. We stay at the Econo Lodge near the host motel. We'll be taking a 2-lane scenic tour of Kansas to get there. We always seem to have as much fun on the route as we do at the shows. Sam

My buddy and I made our room reservations last week. He was there last year and said it was the best time. Really looking forward to it.

FWIW, the lines for the A/C are run and the condenser and compresser are in...just need the A/C unit now...but I'm not sayin'...!!!

Thrashing on the Merc to try to get it to Mick's Merc gathering. Needs exhaust, glass, alignment, etc. Just started vacation today to we'll see what we can get done.
