I am wanting to put a 32 frame under my Model A and I a considering the JW Rod Garage frame. The only thing I am concerned about is the way the frame is stepped in at the front of the wheel well. I was wondering if anyone might have some pictures of a side view of their frame under a car. I got them to send me some pics but the one they sent looks like the person filled that area in. Hopefully someone will have some pics so I can see if this is a look that I want. Thanks.

I think that bit to fill it in comes with the frame. They step it in so you don't have to cut the stock floor frame. If your floor frame isn't good and needs replacing and you are worried about the look you are probably better to get a more traditional frame and make the replacement floor frame to suit the 32 chassis or you can buy floor frames for that purpose. Steadfast is one place for them. Sorry can't help with a pic. I did a lot of research on buying or building that type of frame for my sporty but havn't done it yet.

Hey thanks for the info. My floor is in bad shape so that really isn't a problem for me. I have seen the product that Steadfast makes and it looks nice. It's just hard to make a decision on the frame without seeing what it looks like under a car. Thanks again.

Yeah if your floor frame is shot get the traditional type 32 chassis in my opinion. The stepped frames are really only so you can use your restored car or new brookville body without cutting it up.

Yeah I think I am gonna go ahead and see if I can get a frame from Blackboard. I was just hoping to see a picture of the JW frame to be sure. Thanks for your reply.

I'm sure JW Rod Garage builds a 32 A frame without the step.....can't say I have ever seen one of their's with the step.....I think Brookville does the step set up though.

JW does both. The Brookville step frame still doesn't clear a stock floor frame, only the optional floor frame they have for their bodies. And the optional floor frame for 32 chassis only fits their chassis and not a stock one.
The step frame ed is talking about I assume is the one with a BIG step. It's about 4". The one top left.
