Notice the arc on the one with the blue dots. Looks like he offset each row about half a louver. Different but not dumb looking IMO.

Hey together, thanks @HEMI32 for tagging me.
@Stogy where's that pic from, i think i haven't seen that before. That's an awesome shot, thank you for sharing.

U guys are interested in the progress?
To my shame i have to tell u nothing happend so far, except some research and parts gathering.
As i want to keep the car in the States and me being here in bavaria it's getting a little complicated at the moment with covid and travell ban...
I got to talk to Bob Lopez a while ago, his dad started the build in 49, he sent me some pics from 1950 when it was still in black primer, he knew nothing about the magszine article, nor has he seen pics of the roadster when it was finished, before we got in contact.
I'll try to upload those pics

Thanks for chiming in @bavarian_Tom...I am actually not sure where I found that pic...perhaps it was shared in the Thread below riddled with red x's...I have done a search and came up empty...

All I can say is I'm glad you enjoyed it and now have it on your harddrive...

A extra big thank you for sharing those additional pics...they're awesome to say the least...

...So question to you Tom are you bringing it back to the Fendered variant or the later Highboy one?

...Indian/Harley fenders perhaps? After a closer inspection the front looks like a modded Spare/Wheel Cover

    Foxy Lady too...:)

High praise to this Hotrodder/Customizers vision in Go Fast...
