  3. I need to make some of those rolling stands for my punch press . Wife’s getting tired of holding up a hood while I’m telling her what to do in a loud voice . LOL

Hey @Stogy , where did you find this picture? This car is the new rendition of my uncles 36 Plymouth he built in the early 80s. I recognize it from the taillights and if you look close you can see the exhaust sticking out of the hood side. It has a lasalle grille now also.

Thanks for the links @Stogy . The car was originally built by my uncle in 82/83 (early 80s I know that much). He bought it as a complete car and built it as a highboy. (I actually have all four original fenders from the car). It was red with thin blue scallops and a handmade grille. It was in a magazine sometime in the mid 80s, I believe the article was titled “Texas Highboy” or something along those lines, I had the mag but haven’t seen it in about 15 years. Yes..it was a street rod and OT for this forum. My uncle sold it to the current owner in the mid 90s, that guy kept it for years and it went through several different builders before someone finally did it like he wanted. The chrome steelies and whitewalls were added in the last few years, before that it had big n little torque thrusts and blackwalls. It’s a neat car for sure, definitely against the grain. Thanks again for the pictures, hope y’all don’t mind my rambling.

Thanks Shadow the facts just round out the pictures. I really like the latest effort to give it a vintage edge...worked for me...nice Hotrod and nice bunch of pleasingly placed Louvers of course...

  13. I really like the fenderless 36 Plymouth. I've seen the car in person, and it's really nice. First time I saw it, I thought it had big inch billet wheels, But guess they were the polished 5 spokes? Anyway it was a nice car but it just didn't do it for me, then came the whitewalls! WOW! Whole different car! I really like it this way.
