Here's a couple of my favorite pics I took:

Breeder sporting a RumbleJets shop rag as a bib in case of spilled beers.

    Breeder rocking with the band.

And this little dog named RatBastard that was owned by the tattoo parlor. Him and a little black weiner dog were running around everywhere. Those boys ate well Saturday.

I really wish I had a pic of "Captain Underpants" at the Super-8 after-hours party. On second though, I'm kinda glad I don't have a picture of that.

  9. Sadly that kinda stuff happens all too often,,,such was the case for Deuce Roadster several years ago,,,,,

After driving a few hundred miles to get to the show in Lavonia Ga. he was waiting for a light to change one block from the show when he was rearended by an idiot in a S-10.

Even though he wasn't feeling great he stayed on and when the show was over we tied on the hanging taillight for the drive back home to Lexington, S.C.

He also knocked a hole in the in the oil pan of his 32 roadster when we went to the Johnny Paycheck Memorial in Canon, Ga. two years ago,,,and it didn't get home on it's own that time,,,,

I can say without a doubt,,Randy is afraid of Georgia!:D HRP

Cool people, hot cars, & cold beer . . . what a great time!!

First time on the road for our '36, just under 600 miles round trip, and no problems at all. Although there can't be many bugs left in Iowa from the looks of our car!

Great meeting a bunch of you, I can now put some faces with HAMB names. Looking forward to seeing you around in the future.

Thanks to everyone that helped make it a great weekend!!

Was that you we passed on the highway? According to my chauffeur it's not appropriate to be waving my club jacket at random folks from the show while screaming down the highway...I remember meeting you in the 'striper's tent and that's about all I remember...hahaha

DAMN! i missed Chuck dancin. i heard about the "steam roller". WOW! pretty crazy to find Charles Manson and Ted Nugent's love child in the middle of NOWHERE in a town with a population of 425. :D

  22. what a weekend.

took us 11 hrs to get there instead of 5 1/2. Lots of quality time w/ Magnet. Kudos to Kansas and Diane and Hellfish and E and the twins for stickin' by us the whole time. But he got the Impala fixed on Saturday thanks to some help from friends and the ride back was a breeze.

    Highlights:
    • Dancing w/ Louverdude
    • Jello shots
    • My kick ass t shirt
    • Bombarding Breeder w/ silly string
    • Pig Piling Louverdude and waking him up w/ a wet willie.
    • Rumblejetts including a cameo appearance by Breeder
    • BinderRod in the orange wig
    • Stuckey's Pecan Log Roll and Sonic Cranberry Limeade
    • Sidewalk chalk aka abduction by aliens
    • Getting one of the St Louis Bombers to wear the playboy "I posed today" girlie shirt. Because Louverdude's a pussy and wouldn't.
    • Quality time w/ the "ladies of the hamb"
    Lowlights:
Puking in the bushes. Thanks to Hellfish and BinderRod for capturing that on film  It was the sugar, not the vodka. And by the way I AM extremely conservative! :D

Todd - you really are the Brad Pitt of Wayland, MO. Much Kudos to you and Shana, all the Kropdusters and Vagabonds.

    Dig it!

  23. Oh yeah and I got a real bad case of the heebie jeebies on Saturday night but it seems like most people escaped w/ only minor bruises right? Whew!

Man, what a GREAT show! Now one of my favorites. We will definitely be back next year.

    My highlight:
Everytime a loud car would start up, the twins would startle and start looking woried (they're only 3.5 months old), so my wife would start giving a real happy "Wheeeee!" everytime a loud car went by. Pretty soon everyone else caught on... and we had a bucnh of drunk hot rodders yelling "Wheeeee!" everytime a car started up trying to keep the kids happy!!! By the end of the day they were giggling when a car rapped it's pipes. :D

    Keith & Julie,
Thanks for everything and the hospitality you extended even at the Super 8.
It was my wifes first trip and the both of you made her feel welcomed in a place she thought she would not fit in.
