On Facebook and found a picture of my 29 Roadster taken at the Brisbane Hot Rod Show in either 1970 or 71. I had just finished a rebuild and repainted it dark blue. Y Block (272) powered with 39 trans and open drive to Customline diff. My 29 Roadster at Brisbane Show.jpg

Long gone now. Sold later in 1970 and went to Darwin and now whereabouts unknown.

Sweet roadster! It's great coming across old pictures from the past, especially the ones you never knew about or forgot they existed. Happened to me a few times.

Red line inside too. Nice looking Hot Rod.

  10. X3 on the redlines. Slightly past HAMB era, but it's a '60s touch that I love.

Red line tires were standard on 1965 K code 289 Mustangs........:)
The car might not work here but the tires should, I think my 64 would look great with them.

I think redlines were standard on 64 GTO's and 65 442's also. But I could be wrong.

Neat Rod. I wonder if it's collecting dust in a garage somewhere waiting to be rescued and put back on the road? You should try to track it down.

It was last in Darwin when I sold it in late 1970. There was a rumour that it was seen on a truck coming down to Sydney all stripped out. That was probably 30 years ago so it could be anywhere now.

Unfortunately I was never one to take lots of photos to record history. Regret that now.
