Now I know why you guys learn to paint and do body work yourselves. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Nice ride , my first car was a 47 Chevy coupe .
Gee, that's really nice!
WOO HOO! Pass the sunglasses.
Finally a car that isn't satin or flat. Looks great and I like the color you picked.
What color is that? Looks like a 3 stage ruby red. It's gorgeous
Looks like you also learned why guys do their own upholstery.

Perfect color for that car!
Love the colour and especially the shine! The upholstery is absolutely perfect...
A couple of tiny differences between you and I is that I'd chrome the grille and loose the scoop.
So, are we to presume that you painted it yourself? Looks good if you did. If you didn't how will you ever learn? Never the less it looks great.
I had a 48 Fastback..........it went down the road with a 55 Dodge pickup when the wife wanted to move to town. I should have let her move to town and stayed where I was Your car finished nicely!!!
I love the post war stuff up to 1958. I like the pre war cars but, I'm too big for those.
Da-Gumm! She’s a beaut Clarke!
I know this is a long shot...but for the last 10 years I've been trying to track down my old '48 Chevy Coupe that I built in the early '70s. It was my first Hot Rod, and as of about 7 years ago, it had ended up in the Scranton /Wilkes Barre area. I'll PM you later today.
By the way, your '47 came out absolutely beautiful !!!
