    Hey everyone,
Just joined the H.A.M.B., after recently getting turned on to the site by a fellow gear head. Been courtin' old iron most of my life, so it fits.
Myself and two others are organizin' a first ever Pre-65 Traditional Hot Rod event in Adams County Illinois on August 27th and 28th, 2010. We plan to make this an annual event. Our first stop for suggestions and input was with Breeder from the "Rust Revival". We've been fired up since. Check out our website at www.rockinroddinreunion.com for additional event details.

I've got a 71 Nova SS, two 74 Z28's and my latest project, a 65 Chevy II Street Gasser. Thanks for the welcome and hope to see you at our Show and Party in August!

Yepper! Grew up between a half mile banked dirt track and a 1/4 mile drag strip. They are close enough together that one weekend all the guys took their late model stockers to the strip to see who came out on top off the dirt. Late models at the time were mostly 50's cars. The winner that day was a late 50's Hemi Chrysler called "the Batmobile" Never king of the dirt because of the turns, but nobody could pass him on the straight ways or the strip.
