Recent "barn find". One owner. All original except for battery, tires and fuel. VERY low miles. Every available option and they all work. They are still out there waiting to be found. Never give up.

Not really pink. Not sure what the factory called it. Someone here will know for sure.
Pink would be a bit much, wouldn't it? (smiling) Although, the car had one lady owner since new.

No plans. Leave it as is. This is as close to a time capsule as I can imagine. I cannot possibly think of doing anything to it other than preserving it. Very limited driving. Afraid it might suffer a stone chip!! (laughing)

No, the Mary Kay cars were pink. Not sure but I think this color was something like primrose. Probably not right though. Definitely not pink (thankfully!!).

Cadillac was one of the few companies that could get away with colors that other cars would look horrible in, but because of what they are they look cool in all kinds of wild colors.

    Nice Caddy, very clean.

Heather or Laurel. It is a minty looking car. I read your intentions, but a set of custom 2" shorter wound coils in the front-done!

Cadillac and Volkswagen could paint cars in colors that nobody else would ever get away with.

A mild lowering job, a set of Supremes and a pair of mufflers to give this beautiful car a voice and it would be all set.

    Indeed it's a beauty.

Also, I believe the pink Mary Kay Cads didn't start until the late 60's.

Terrific!!! I see so many caddies of that period running around lowered, ugly wheels and a loud exhaust to make it sound bad. All those "racy" mufflers do is make it sound like crap. You got a great original car. It was right from the factory and will get a lot more attention if you keep it that way.

I believe the color is Heather Irid. In '68 a guy was selling 1/2 pint cans of paint cheap and he had about 20 of the Heather Irid. We bought them all and painted a '56 Ford Customline. It looked pretty good for a backyard paint job.

It's absolutely as it left the showroom. Aside from 23,000 miles, it is literally as if it just left the showroom. Extremely rare and well preserved. The only things ever done to it were oil changes and maybe a tune-up. I will admit that the photos were a bit dark. So, I lightened them up a bit. Maybe too much?
