    A stupid question:
If you find a nice 36 and 15 years later there it is in the same place, and no owner in sight in all the years.... why dont you just take it? It would dissolve into dust anyway.... isn't it a crime to just leave such nice cars to rot to pieces or worse scrape them?
Thievs steal new stuff.... i would just call it modern archeology ;)

Because it's stealing, and if I caught you I'd shoot you and let the dogs eat you.

The right approach is to get the address, go to the courthouse, find out who lives there, or owns the property, and contact them with interest in buying the '36. Of course you might get shot for asking, lol.

The Model A is somebody's lawn art, but the house next to it is vacant.... So who knows. The 39-40 is quite a ways off of the main road and there is half of a coupe in the shed next to it. Looks like somebody's project that never got off of the ground. I will keep you updated.

Found these in a yard I haven't been in before today.

Would it have a Hemi in it? The engine was in it, covered in briars so I couldn't see it.

Couple F1's that I was there to scrounge parts off of.
