Jungle Pam picture thread.

Uhhhh.....

 

Pam, I love you! I always have. My daughter who is 25 now is an occasional "line up girl" at our local track who knows what a car should and shouldn't do from the line.

You were more than decoration or a gimmick as some folks have said, you are the real deal and made a difference in the car ran. The way things used to be. We still have some of it at the grass roots level, just 1/8th mile (it sucks) but the fun is still there.

It's just awesome to see racing legends like Pam that still appreciate what its all about, the FUN. Instead of being 8 second commercials for some corporate sponsor. Hats off and a big welcome to Pam and the many others like her.

Question for Pam. Have you ever attended the California Hot Rod Reunion? And what do you think of the current crop of Nostalgia Funnies?

 

Jim was married to Bobbie, a VERY nice lady with a lot of class.. I knew her for a short time before she died.. a classy lady that loved Jim a lot.

 

The one in the NHRA Museum in Pomona, CA is a recreation. I was with a guy that knew Jungle Jim and hung out with him, painted one of his funny cars for him and he said that is a recreation and not even close or true to the real car... he said that is why Pam will not be photographed with it...

Just talked to my friend and he said, they tried to get Pam to sign off on the car at York, and she refused.. and try and find one of his camaros that looks like that car...

 

Picture thread??? No "Pam pictures" in the last 100 posts.
