  1. No worries, we may not be racing for a while.
Sorry to hear that you are going through that, been there, done that.
When you do finally make it, look us up, we will have more adult beverages than tools in our pit.

Going to use an exstended tip 3/4" reach (1" -14mm doesn't isn't made) Still is ample piston clearance but will get the spark out of the hole

from my preliminary measurements the Winfield cam has .340 lift or just under that maybe .334. I cant read the markings on the one end of it and the other is stamped Winfield clearly. It came with a engine I bought in pieces with a iron miller cragar ohv and a wico mag.

I only have one and if I had a dozen would any of them really be "extra" lol

On another note I'm trying to finish the exhaust on my car out the back. I started w 2.25 off the cast iron header. I'm thinking I should go to 2" and scrap the 2.25 or maybe just neck the tailpipe down to 2" everything I have read says 2" single will support around 150hp easily. I'm not making 150 or close ro it but hoping w the ohv I'll be closer to that than I am now. Anyone have any thoughts. The 2.25 that goes about 2.5 feet off the cast iron header us way to loud and annoying. It doesn't have any tone. It was temporary anyhow and now it's time to do it right.

Off Idle Hesitation!!! This is what I have:
    stock block and pistons
Holly 847 carb and homemade down draft intake
34 Ford dist with centrif advance
    5.5 Snyder head
Everthing is good, spark 5 deg bdc, accelerator pump squirts good, idles great.. Has a slight hesitation off idle that makes the car jump then it is fine... AM I FIGHTING THE 65 POUND FLYWHEEL MASS ? ModA 531.jpg
