To the best of my knowledge they are crystal glass. The ELVIS III was built by Celebrity Kustoms in Milan, Italy. There are a couple of early pix that John sent me at this Link:

I had to use the like button again, that's very nice, and even the much overused taillights are nice.
The crystal one is cool
