Thanks to all for the Warm WELCOME! I almost feel right at home. I have a 57, 283 engine sitting in the 52 Chevy with a 350 behind it, and a 69 camaro rear, used the CE mounting kit for the rearend, it worked pretty slick. My question is, the 283 is a front mount, I found a old Hurst mount, worked great, and made a bracket for the rear of the 350 trans to the original crossmember. Any one know how to support the bellhousing area, or do I need one, thanks for all your help. Joe in Ga.

Welcome from Lithia Springs..........................You probably won't need a bracket at the bellhousing if you've built a crossmember under the tailshaft housing! If you need more help, PM me, and I'll give you a number where you can reach me! I've got three 49 to 54s with V-8 conversions!
