How the heck did I miss this build?

The HAMB is getting too big!

    Man, I dig this tub.

You going to have it done by the NSRA Nats?

Still parking down in the grass by the swap?

i have been finishing up the bottom of the car and doing all the final welding . i always wanted to put a quick change in this car but that is alot of money to shell out for a low budget car. weel i scored a cheap open diff. winters champ style qc and i have been giving it some serious thought of putting it in this car. it will need the axle ends cut and ford 9" flanges welded up and i do have a jig to do all the work but the only thing is the big champ style qc is so big the back of the bottom of the body would need some triming. i am just trying to decide if i want to cut the body more . here are some pics of how the body would have to be cut out around the rear qc cover. i need to decide soon.

I'd do it! You know that QC would look so good peeking out from underneath that body. And the louvers match it well too.

    I dare you. :)

im thinking that with the price of gas they keep talking about this summer it might be nice to have some 2.20 gear to go out to bonneville. i just may need a push to get going but i will be able to go 85mph at about 1800rpm.:D;)

How awesome would it be to have the feeling of reserve top end power?! I could live with crawling away from intersections for a while.

Drew: Quickies are fun and are the best finish to the rear of a tub, you will be the 3rd in Cincy... If you need help sourcing the Quickie to 9" stuff, I still have all of my stuff.

Looks like you've been thinking about it more than all day. You must have been thinking about it when you laid our the louvers. That will look perfect sticking out of the back.

I love anything Jeem dreams up - and I specially love that tub since it was published. I even thought about the "Jake" brown paint for my own RPU.

So, Rob, you're on here, so this car should be on the cover of R&C asap, right? If Jimmy doesn't get a royalty he should at least get a cover and a "flash back" to the concept art, right? Just sayin'
