Good morning! Continuing with a some more of 1955 Bonneville from Gary's Brownie. The #176 Chrisman Bros D coupe hit a new class record of 196 in 1955. One of the most iconic land speed cars of the fifties, it was auctioned in its original glory at Mecum Monterey in 2018 for $410,000.

Thanks @winduptoy I only have results/info from 49 & 50. I've been looking, but can't find much on mid 50's results on the interweb.

#151 D roadster from Quincy Automotive. I think this was out of Santa Monica and owned by Quincy speed shop owner Bill Cox.

The JADO Special, run by James Kambour and Don Apenfels (JADO the first two letters of their first names). It ran a blown flathead and used an aluminum frame. It still exists in an Oregon museum.

299 is a car from Texas, I can't think of the name but the car ran a Caddy engine.
