Outstanding work! You give me hope that someday I'll be driving my car. Thanks for the update!

HotrodJen did a fabulous job on my tank. Stripes and gold leaf. She did 3 shades of brown and also some vermilion which will all go great with the paint on the car. Its all ready to go back in my trunk tomorrow 41uh6uCB-175645920.jpeg IMG_20200706_200559_797.jpeg 20200706_195418.jpeg

She's something else. She did an incredible job on my tank (and headlights & grill) when she was just a kid & it's interesting to see the obvious evolution on your tank. Nice!

If you have build hot rod on your bucket list. Don’t check the box next to it. Cross it out and write MASTERED above it.

Still working on it this winter tweaking a couple things. Added some ribbed inner and outer trim rings to match the hubcaps. Found a nice original set of everything and had them polished IMG_20201216_200106_802.jpeg IMG_20201216_200230_803.jpeg IMG_20201215_170648_564.jpeg

...This is a dramatic change from the bare bones tire, wheel, cap just above...You have an Eye that I seldom question...did you try the Cap and Trim ring only minus the undercap ring?

I just feel the loss of rim color may have pacified its Sinister side a bit...

Again maybe some outside shots may yield a more convincing experience to my eyes...what a Hotrod though and it's no surprise how all these details change and effect moods in an instant...I always say walking a mile in a Hotrod Builders shoes is a huge undertaking...

I don’t know how such a “lady killer” of a hot rod can look so classy leaving the dames by the wayside.

I'll be taking the car to the Jalopyrama indoor show in Maryland in a couple weeks. It is back at the painter for a final buff right now. After that show it will be time to get it dirty and put some miles on it this summer IMG_20210414_194146_481.jpeg Screenshot_20210415-052826_Instagram.jpeg

I am anxious to see it. Maybe at a cruise around here. Wheels of Time in August?

Love the fuel tank! Has an Art Deco aura about it, like something Frank Lloyd Wright would have done if he had been more into cars instead of architecture.

  26. Sorry I won't make Jalopyrama this year. Enjoyed seeing the progress on your Deuce last year and talking with you about it.

Back from the painter after rebuffing. I reinstalled the exhaust which just came back from getting polished. Its getting some Tommy the Greek style striping on the louvers next week.
