Scored a cool pair of headlights too. They have a glass marker light on top and appear to be made of brass

Cool looking build. Not sure where you're located south of the border but one thing that makes it tough for us guys up north is we would have a super tough time finding the type of parts you have been collecting. They are just really rare up here so if you do find them they are always over priced! Jealous! Great build, subscribed

Southeastern Pennsylvania is where I live. Fortunately I have a good circle of friends who are all into building traditional cars. We do a lot of horse trading and bartering

My friend George from Jersey had the old chrome front bones, steering drag link and F-1 pitman arm. It took some persuading but he let them go

The speedo says moto meter on the back. I have no idea what it was originally in. I liked the art Deco design in the middle. The black area in the middle is also about the same size as the smaller SW gauges that I'll be using.

The tach I got from a buddy and is a very close match in color to the speedo

Took the whole pile over to Andy Kohler's shop. We are going to be tag teaming on the chassis. He has a great shop.

Stripped and metal finished the valve covers for the Caddy motor too. These are heading out for chrome. Thanks to Koz for letting me use his blasting cabinet..

This motor appears to be super low milage

I'm going to be making a home made Pines Winterfront grill insert. I'm starting with a rough, but original insert. I'm going to remove the bars and straighten the perimeter then add a stainless bar down the middle and make the vertices Pines style slats. Should be an interesting project [IMG]

  19. I really like the idea of making the pines front grill. Plus teaming up with Andy the shit is going to fly now. Hell it might even be done as I type this at the speed you guys work.
Any chance you would sell me the old grill bars? I need some to finish restoring an original.
PM me if you are interested, I need seven of the long ones. Are you going to leave the crank beazel?

Dennis! I told you a hundred times I'm giving you my crank bezel. I was actually thinking about taking it off today and sending it to you all surprise like. How weird.

Considering the speed at which you build I'm surprised you aren't driving it yet!! As always nice work.
