A little more work on the buckets tonight. Hit the etched tops with my buffing wheel. Then carefully taped off the design. A quick shot in the blast cabinet is next

Ahhh...Shades of my 1932 Conn Alto 'Lady in the Bell'...stolen by some repair fink I was foolish enough to leave it with!
Replaced it with a Selmer. (like 'replacing' a '32 roadster with a Simca!)

Last step was a hand polish with a rough shop rag and some semichrome polish to even out the matte finish around the polished design. A bunch of steps on these but they came out pretty neat.

Some people really know how to build a hot rod. You are definitely one of those people.

Thanks the car's been going back and forth between my shop and Andy's. He just got done with a lot of TIG welding on the body ...welding up seams he also helped to get in the a-pillers straightened out to the doors open and close. There was also a bunch of pin holes on the body here and there that were just too thin for me to go after with a my mig

Next up I'm going to try to get the body down to bare metal

The Busby was one I took a hard look at when figuring out how much meat to cut out. I took a very similar amount of inches out
