Event Coverage James Dean Rod Run

Anyone headed to the Rod Run in Fairmount and Gas City this year? Heading up tonight.

 

Will be there Saturday & Sunday, at Fairmount

 

It's usually a good show and swap meet. I travel between venues Free lodging since my Inlaws live there but also an excuse to avoid them all weekend. So it's a win win.

The wife and I attended the Duct Tail on Friday for the first time. What an awesome show.

 

Thanks for sharing these great pics. Looks like a great time even with the rain I saw in some photos.

 

It was a good show. Luckily the rain was light and done before noon.

 

Do you have any more information about that unrestored early 20's motorcycle. Is it an excelsior? Great looing bike. I get more exited about an original rather than a restoration.

 

It was an Excelsior. Completely unrestored motor never opened up. The tires and leather belt/Chain was replaced with NOS and that was it. The bike is ridden and I heard he was going around 20 miles riding to the show each day. He also owns an unrestored early Indian that he rides.

 

How Cool. Although those Bike Pics are not totally HAMB friendly I thank you for including them.
