I may not get to Latimore until tomorrow morning, so don't rush right up. Also we may be short some help. If you REALLY want to help, find me Saturday morning & we may have something for you. I can't remember that you told me you could help & I sure don't have time to go looking for you!! Thanks so much.

The wiCZARd does what the wiCZARd wants. I needed to trailer it anyways since I am bringing up Sugar City stuff (table, tent, banner etc) so that already took some of the luster out of the idea and when it spun the axle threads I knew that was my only day to get it ready. I'm on Daddy duty until this evening.

Dustin is coming with me. We had another but he dropped out last minute. The rest of the guys are staying behind to chop a '49 Merc.

You need to relax. The SHOWERS have been late afternoon lately. It rains 15 minutes, then goes away...in effect cooling you off just enough. At this point it would take a LOT of rain to make mud as dry as it has been. I think we'll be fine.

Cool, I wanted to see that car at the showdown but couldn't make it. I'm going as a spectator.. bringing the Blue Ford... Lincoln is still being a bad girl.

1 o'clock and still no rain. SHOWERS late tomorrow. We will NOT cancel. If we can't run the race car program, we will do our usual hot rod mud run.*

  17. Good to hear Larry... i'm really going to try and make it.

i stopped by last night about 7pm and and dropped off a vender trailer.

Everything looked beautiful. green mowed and trimmed grass everywhere, beautiful sunny weather, very clean as always and looking ready to go.........

weather going to be partly cloudy with lower 80's, very comfortable. chance of scattery thunderstorms, no worries. and strong storm front not planned to get here until evening.

  22. The rain was, in a word, Biblical..........

And after, the mud was, well, epic........

Wish i coulda made it. been bummed all day but shit happens and sometimes it's just the way it is.. I do plan on hitting the Showdown drags though. Never been to them yet.
Look's like it was yet another great time...and it wouldn't be the Showdown if it didn't rain!!
