It was the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11th. That's all I was saying. And as a matter of fact, of the 6 people who work for the shop, three of us are veterans, and two of us are war veterans. The other three employees I would consider Patriots all day long. The Veterans that work for me don't work on Memorial day or Veterans day or Armed Forces Day. Dec. 7th work stops in the shop for a moment of silence, and I usually play the Presidents Speech via radio about the bombing. VE and VJ day, no. We do usually mention it. But not a day off. Django and I usually talk about it though. I don't know what war you were in, or how old you are, but Sept. 11th is the WORST thing to happen in our country in my lifetime. You're not the only war vet on here. Or patriot. I think my comment was more so that there are several other weekends when any given show could have happened. And that having it on the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11th would probably affect attendance. Nothing more.
If there was a HAMB meet and greet, I wasn't aware of it. I was only attending without a car, so maybe I was not informed of it. Pictures from Saturday afternoon, 3:00-6:00pm
