Hot Rods Jack Dewars 29 Roadster Pickup

    This is Jack Dewar's 29 Roadster Pickup under construction Body and drive train being done by Jack Dewar and the Engine has been built by Pat Gary of Pagaent Manufacturing. The engine includes Custom Rods, Counter Weighted "B" Crank, Custom Billet front accessory cover kit, custom ground cam, rebuilt Cragar head. Here are a few pics of our progress.

    If it's anything like the engines I have seen from Pat this thing will run like a raped ape. I had the privilege of spending a few hours at Pat's place in 2008 and it was an epiphany! That's going to be one killer truck....

    Here's the latest update & pictures, it's almost road ready, I got to hear it run today for the 1st time. It ran so smooth it was anti-climactic, Next time we'll get out the timing lite and adjust the carb. Jack is thinking of smaller tires in front & we're trying to talk him into a dropped axle. Should be a fun car anyway. Pat

    Good to hear that he finally got to fire it off. Funny how Jack tells me that I need to shorten the bed on my rpu...:)
