Event Coverage It's time to "THAW"

The 2010 Texas Thaw is mere weeks away. Promises to be another fine hot-rod / drag racing event, as in the previous 2 years.


Major 'Pre-Party' Friday night, Music by Pushrod, Chili by Big-Tony & BigKen, Red-beans by Steve Scott, Fajitas by the Tri-Five Chevy crew. Fun & Grudge racing, pic your nemisis, and go 'heads-up all-night long.
Camping allowed overnight, but gates are closing at midnight.

BIGKEN...I have a feeling your going to have a big turnout this year. WHY? hell brother people are going stercrazy just being inside to much this winter. YOU KNOW? atleast that's what i believe...POP.

Hey Ken ,im thinking of coming down Friday night for the party and getting a motel in Denton afterwards .Will it be cool to leave my car and trailer at the track all night unattended ? My wife cant drive my truck pulling a trailer and i will most likely not want to drive after the party anyway .I really would rather not load it up and unload it again the next morning if i dont have to.Anyone staying there all night that can keep an eye on it ?

Haha Last year I only took a windbreaker and a beanie hat. I will be better prepared this year

That was the first year and it was at least 3,maybe 4 degree's warmer.
