Well heres my "lil short shank" built it in a 59'-62' flavor, and on the cheap....58' 283 w/duntov cam, 63' vette 4 spd, 48'f-1 rear with 3:78 gears and a locker, oh and yes its kind of fun slamming thru the gears first time out, hitting 4th and letting off the gas....92" wheelbase and a locker....not fun....but fun now:)

Oh Man! Really like this little thing!
Short wheelbase is the way to go and the drivetrain just kicks ass.
I'd have a grille of some sort...not liking the engine being exposed from the front...but I'm being WAY over-critical to focus on that.

You need to but up some build pics.

Nothing special to look at you say???
Well thats EXACTLY why you should put up some build pics!
Show how simple it all can be.....
Big bucks is great to look at but THIS is really where its at...not professional Deuce builds.

Your little R/pu sums up Hot Rodding for me.
    You NAILED it.

I used 1 1/2" exhaust tubing side to side as far as I could go,then ran short rubber hoses. Its a stockwater pump and surprisingly works perfect...they are along side the frame

Very nice...love the stubby wheelbase. What is that trim piece in front of your door?
