Finally fired up my Link today!! It's been almost a year ( I know , I'm slow) since the donor motor ran on its own but hey who cares.. it runs now!! Basically all the mechanicals are done. All that left is a brake pedal push rod, mount the shifter, fill the cooling system and other small stuff. Now its time for body work. Any body have a place thats warm enough to paint (in Southern Mich.)?? My un-heated/ un- insulated garage is a bit on the cold side. (actually made it up to 38 deg. yesterday!?) March 1st is right around the corner and I got a deadline to make. For those of you that think this post sucks 'cause I don't have pics (jusjunk) (lol) I'll post pics later tonight with the help of the little lady.
Congrats on the motor running. We should celebrate with a haircut!! Hoboy was talking about a rent-a-booth place a couple of weeks ago but I don't know if it got anywhere. I used to know a guy in Ypsi with his own booth but I haven't talked to him in years. He's really nice but a stoner.
