Thanks! The little guy at the end eating watermelon is the guy I got the body from. He is in his late sixties and did the engine start up video. I actually got to meet and enjoy most of the people in the video.

Things move pretty slow at my shop! It seems like I do everything twice. Finally got the speedometer cable made the correct length and installed, glass in the windshield frame, windshield wiper cut down to fit, rear view mirror assembled, tidied up a spot of overspray on the bottom side, and then went to install the rest of the exhaust to find out that I put the electric fuel pump right in same spot as the left exhaust. Shut the lights off in the shed an quit for the night.

Forgot! I got my friend Lonnie Moore to shoot some paint on my fuel tank. He does a great job! The best shop in Wichita! Now if I could get the brackets back from the chrome shop I could move forward.

Seat frame back and bottom cut, sanded, stained and varnish. Going to let everything dry a couple days and then do the webbing on the seat bottom. Oh yea I did call my chrome guy and once again I need to call next week to find out when I can callback to find out when it will be maybe done.

Finished webbing the bottom of the seat and got both the bottom and back installed. Seat belts fit great (belts are new and latches are nos ). Just a couple more things and interior is read to go to upholstery shop

No I think it is an industrial grade. I bought it at a place called the Yard Store here in Wichita. It is a surplus center. I think they have a web site.

Finally a little activity to post. I received the tank brackets back from the plater and was able to install the tank for what I think is the last time. Now onto the last bit of plumbing and should have gas to the motor. More to come!

Installed vintage license plate frame. I also got my license plate light bezel back from the plater. Happy with both parts

Another milestone! Fuel system finished and ready to put some gasoline in and check for leaks. Hope to fire it up next weekend. I am hoping for a good sound out of full exhaust.

First time outside as a hot rod. Couple little gremlins but they shouldn't take much to straighten out
