Hope you didn't run out of fuel unless the gauge is just not working

  2. Gauge quit working a while ago, haven’t got around to pulling the sending unit to have a look yet!

  3. Drove the car today, possibly the last top down day of the season, we had family pictures today, my 16 year old daughter drove home, it made me smile to see her driving it. Later I made a trip to town. Stopped and snapped a couple pictures on the way home.[IMG]
Pissed me off the left park light was out!!

In my opinion one of the few cars that look better as a convertible than a hardtop.

  5. So much better, the hard tops look kind of awkward in my opinion

Come on, Lloyd. You know you don't buy big block Chryslers for the gas mileage...

  9. Fuck gas mileage! Everything is better with multiple carbs!!

Those '59 Dodge caps look good on the vert. I have pics of a '64 2dr that has a Cross Ram engine in it. I can't find the pics and probably can't remember where the car is now. Errrr

  11. I would love the long ram intakes, I can’t afford them...the factory dual inline four intakes are reasonably cheap.

  15. I have several but not what I need, @carbking recommended Pontiac AFBs which I want to run when I find them. I have one edelbrock 1406 and one edelbrock 1405. Not sure if I can run them together so I need one of one or the other!

  16. Hmmmmm.... run the 600 as primary and the 500 as secondary at WOT? o_O

  17. They are both 600cfm...

  18. Oh! One electric and one manual choke? I was thinking the 1405 was 500cfm. Don't laugh, I'm a bodyman :p

  19. Both electric choke, the 1405 is apparently more performance based than the 1406? Just what I’ve been reading...I have several 600 holleys but they won’t fit end to end. I could run them sideways but would rather the edelbrocks

I'm guessing it doesn't look like that right now...

But the actual reason I looked up this message is to ask what the AFB numbers are that you need. There's a 3252 on eBay right now and I thought that it might be one you're looking for.

Just found this thread. Awesome find. Continue to enjoy! As a kid around 17, my grandmother inherited her brother’s 64 Chrysler Saratoga 300 2dr (Canadian only) with a 383 2 bbl and a 2.73 posi. It was mint with only 45,000 miles. We got some rust fixed on the rear quarters, new paint, (my cousin and I removed every piece of stainless/chrome trim!) . We painted the engine factory red with a kit that came with my grandmother’s vacuum! We took her to car shows which she enjoyed very much. After she passed, the car was sold to someone in St. Thomas, ON for around $3K in 1998. It was black with a blood red cloth interior. Remember cruising with 8 of my friends in the car (no seat belts). Lol!

  24. Not at all!! It is white now! The AFBs I’m looking for are 3300s or 3326s as recommended by carbking. Thanks though!

Remember going down to the Mopar Nationals one year. Saw a 64 300 K with the 413 and dual carbs. The owner took it to the drag strip, but IIRC it was actually pretty slow in the 15-16 sec range. I’m guessing he didn’t want to thrash it too much.

  30. They aren’t exactly a light car and likely tall geared. I just want one because they look so damn cool.
