Lumps on my big head says it many ways. Not for me. I got enough trouble fitting in tight places. I do like da look but another lump might kill me. Lol

When you have a un-chopped vehicle you are telling the general public that this car can be return to stock with a little effort at a loss of no funds. Chopped vehicles are telling the general public, I don't give a damn, my vehicle is a hot rod and will never be stock.

I remember a thread here where a 49 Mercury coupe got chopped.
In the end of the build there was a profile pictures of the car before and after the chop.
And the builders comment was. Looking at these pictures its unbelivible there still unchopped Mercurys out there.
Done right a chop really add to the attitude.

Depends of the style of car. 49 to 52 Chevs can go either way. The nice thing is they look good unchopped.

    Not very often.

  14. Will never chop or channel anything. Being 6' 5", I need all the headroom and legroom I can get. I have a friend at church who has a beautiful stock '30 Model A coupe with rumble seat. I asked him if I could sit in it one time when he drove it to church. I could not get my long-legged carcass behind the steering wheel and close the door. Wayne is about 5' 7" and skinny, so no problem for him. My great-grandfather Turner was 6' 8", don't know how he got into the cars of his day.
