Is this hood stock?

    I borrowed this pic of this awesome 64 from another thread. Im curious if this is a stock Galaxie hood and what model it came on?

  2. Looks like an early 60's T Bird "scoop" was grafted on to the Galaxie hood.

  4. Hard to tell but it looks V'd enough and low enough to be a 61-63. They got less V'd and taller when they redesigned them in '64

    I love the way it looks. Really good job for a graft. looks stock. It threw me when I saw it.
     
  6. Tough to tell from the angle, but from there it does resemble the 64 T-Bird.

    any body know if the width of a tbird hood is similar to the galaxie?

    It belongs to a fella here on the HAMB. I think it is a T-bird scoop.

    been planning to do the same to a spare hood for my `61 F100.....already have the `64 T-Bird hood waiting
