Is there a "wanted" board?

Been a loooonnnnnnggg time since I posted here. I've looked around and can't find a specific "Looking for a _______" car board. Is there such a thing? Yes, I'm looking to purchase a specific car.

I've seen "cars wanted" on the HAMB Classifieds many times.

 

If you post on the Wanted Ads, be aware of scammers. They will pull ads and photos from Ebay and other message boards that are selling what you're looking for, and email you that they are selling it trying to get you to send them money.

The wanted ads are the biggest source of scam alerts on this board. Know that going in, and be prepared to ignore any responses from somebody with a brand new account who lo and behold just happens to have exactly what you want.

Post an ad for a longer Johnson rod and see what the scammers come up with.

 

For some reason when I click on the classified it doesn't show a wanted section at all or a way to be able to post on it

...Don't think of this place as only a venue for buying something or free ads for selling. This is a community of like-minded folks who love traditional hot rods and customs. Make a comment about how much you like or dislike someone's car or actually start a thread about something appropriate. I really don't understand people who come here but don't care to participate.

You have nine posts already. Go out to the main forum, scroll through the posts until you find something that interests you, and then make a post. It really is that simple. The you'll have the required number of posts and you will be able to have access to the wanted forum.

Do NOT be one of those tools that posts multiple times in this forum simply to get your post count up. It is not appreciated by anyone.

The "cars for sale" aren't in the wanted section, that's where people post for parts they need.

 

For the extremely disgruntled, maybe you should double it.......
