Flat Top Bob stopped by on his trek to Arkansas. After dinner we were talking about his upcoming vacation to the Carribean. He jokingly said he didn't know if he could survive a 7 day cruise without having Hamb access.
I know that it is a regular part of my daily routine.

I think we may be teetering on the brink of HAMB annonymous...... [IMG]

It s amazing how one of the first things I do when I get home or get up in the AM is check the HAMB. It is a sickness but I for one am not ready to face up to it and go it to rehab - so call me a junkie!

The first step is to admit you have a problem.
Of course, my second step is usually to ignore the problem and hope it goes away. [IMG]

My school lets us use laptops during the course of the day for school related things if we want to. But all I do is surf the net.

They busted me for being on the hamb so many times, they had to block the site. Yeah, maybe I should seek some help, or drop out of school [IMG]

  12. There useta was a 12 step program for HAMB'rs.

They took it off line cuz nobody used it.... [IMG]

I wonder if there is a HAMB patch out there some where?
I tried a beer patch once. I'd picked a label off a bottle and stuck it to my forehead, it didn't help. [IMG]

Yeah I'd like a HAMB patch, maybe a hat to. Can we get some new shirts? Oh yeah and I'm usually not more than 5 or 6 steps away from the computer so I don't need 12 steps. Yes there's internet access in the garage. How else am I supposed to look up parts?

I could quit at any time if I had to. [IMG] But why do I need to? I like it! It hasn't ruined my life yet...

HAMB is much cheaper than cigarettes. Which, btw, its been 3 weeks since I quit and hadn't had one since. I find I occaisionally want to go "perform the ritual" of having a smoke... but theres no more "OMFG I NEED a smoke!" I guess I got it licked.

My chest never hurt before now and I cough a lot more. I think I'm growing new lungs!

Burndup, congrats on the three weeks, now the hard part is coming, which is situation addiction. IE, I used to have a cigarette doing this or doing that, thats when your mouth waters [IMG] My girlfriend went home for x-mas and I had all these great plans while she's gone, clean the house, clean the garage finish porting my sportyheads. What got done? My post count went up. (and there was a little porn invoved [IMG]what can I say shes been gone like since burndup quit smokin.)

This place is addicting, even when I don't have the time, I feel the need to check in and see whats going on for a few minutes.

  26. Just because I fired up the internet the second my boss went out the door does not mean I am addicted. I was checking a PM about an order from a HAMBer. Convenient excuse huh? [IMG]

I used to think I was the only guy that was this car sick. But then....I found a whole buttload of sickos. Maybe, that's why I stay here.

  29. so....... you're callin us a bunch of sick fucks?.....thats what we like...RECOGNITION! [IMG] I live in a small farm community......very little to talk about here with the locals, unless it has cleats/tracks or is deisel powered,so Yes I do enjoy the HAMB.....you can only talk to yourself so long before you know what you're gonn say next -[also TV is so lame now I use it to withdraw from that bad habit! [IMG]

At least I can now relate to the Crack whore down the street! But I still have something to show for my addiction...and a very friendly neighbor for 20 bux!
