Take a look, this is the P & B Colonial Diner in Glassboro, New Jersey dates back at least to the 1950s, perhaps even to the 1940s. But what is interesting is the Ed Roth sign in the background. I grabbed this off of atomicantiques.com and he thinks that this may be a Packard dealer. Does any old time Jersey guy know anything?
Looks like the pic is circa '64... "Big Daddy", IIRC, was a Cali. native son, so not likely "that" Ed Roth... Mid-'60's, the ol' Rat Fink had his studio/shop in Venice (?) CA.
That was a MG - Austin dealer - Ed Roth & Son Inc on Delsea Dr in Glassboro. Looks like a Saab, Triumph TR3, Volvo 544, and possibly a BMW Isetta in the lot.
This says he was a Packard dealer http://www.automotivehistoryonline.com/StudePackNHthruOK.htm and an Edsel dealer http://www.edsel.net/states/nj.html even a MG dealer http://books.google.com/books?id=xb...nepage&q=ED ROTH GLASSBORO NEW JERSEY&f=false
