Event Coverage Is anyone missing their favorite car show?

Its not September yet so I've not missed it but this would have been the 39th Outridders Picnic. I haven't missed the last 8 and was at the first ones held at Bob Andersons oil field instrument repair shop in Huntington Beach. I've lost quite a few members who were friends and it will be tough knowing some won't be with at the next one in 2021. Photo is where my wife Jean and I park backed up to the lake and one of Jean receiving her plate for the tri-tip luncheon .....Life somethings just isn't fair to us in this fraternity........JD

 

Yes, it was grey primer until last week. I had planned to run it that way this summer and finish it over the winter...that is, until everything stopped. With no car shows to go to, decided to tear it apart & finish it this summer.

Jimmy, that is one of the best looking 56 Fords I have ever seen !

 

I totally agree Bob I was never a big fan of the longer roof Club Cabriolets and always thought they looked a little awkward...whereas the Deluxe Cabriolet has more of the 3 window coupe proportions...only better because the top goes down
