Is anyone going to El Mirage this weekend? 7/15

So a few friends and I went in June last year and had a blast. We finally lined up all the ducks for another weekend of camping, dirt bikes, and land speed racing. Are any HAMBers going? Or do the 100 degree temps keep all the serious guys away?

 

I'll be there with the crew campagning the Bean Bandits flathead lakster.

 

We'll be out there trying to go fast on our lil motorbike. The hot and the cold isnt a problem, its wind and rain that keep us down.

 

Car 701 will be there, missing 1 son/helper this weekend. If you want to crew stop on by.

Don't worry, the SCTA has a "lakebed spotter" that lives about 100 yards west of the lake on the SCTA property. He has stated just before lunch today NO RAIN (as of yet) on the lakebed.
